#1 mistake: Litter box is too small or too high
Around the web we see that cats love boxes, they’ll fit in the box even if the box is obviously too small. But when it come to litter box, thing is a little bit different. Your cat needs a box that is big enough for them to turn around.
#2 mistake: Confusing your cat with too many scents
Cats are very sensitive about scent and odor. A lot of cat owner confuse their cat by using scented litter and litter box. What they don’t realize is the scented litter and litter box that they’re using are only good for them but confusing to their cat.
Using cleanser that contains ammonia can also confuse your cat. This is because this kind of cleanser has a similar scent to cat urine and may cause your cat to think that the newly cleaned area is his/her litter spot.
#3 mistake: Their cat roams too freely in the house

Punishing or raising voice to your cat or kitten will only cause tension. Unlike human, cat didn’t understand your language.
